I recently talked with an elder from my former church. When he heard that our interim pastor is a guy who had had an affair and then confessed it to his family and put things back together, he was apalled and considered him "disqualified" and was pretty intense about it. I was pretty strong in my response back because it really suprised me that he would be so ungracious... I'm hoping that he thought about it more. I guess all of us have these judging sides to us that need to be brought out from under the rock and exposed to the light. Jesus came to heal the sick. We're all sick. Pure and simple. That’s COOL to hear about your second chances, Kevin.
