It is truly a free new world. First Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails blew up the paid model. Now Coldplay.
In their first week, it looks like Coldplay will go on to SELL almost 700,000 copies of their new album “Viva La Vida.”
However, they started with a free download of “Violet Hill.” They then announced a free show at Madison Square Garden in New York to promote their new album.
Even though the music industry is down 11% from last year, Coldplay is not.
